Plus, you'll have access to a Patient Advocate who can walk you through your coverage options and help you get reimbursed.

Insurance Update: Please note that we are currently not in-network with Kaiser Permanente or Medi-Cal. We understand how important coverage is and are actively working toward accepting these plans in the future. We will update our website as soon as our status changes.

Accepted Insurance Plans for Doula Support

Note: Coverage amounts and specific "caps" vary by employer. I recommend checking your Insurance Member Portal or speaking with a Care Captain to confirm your specific lifetime or annual benefit amount. I will provide the necessary itemized receipts (superbills) and completed attestation forms you need to submit for a smooth reimbursement process. As of  January 20th 2026, I am a Carrot-approved Postpartum Doula on their Platform.

This isn't an exhaustive list! I'm happy to work with other insurance providers and benefits—just reach out so we can discuss your coverage and get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

I accept Zelle, Venmo, Cash, and Checks. The retainer is due at contract signing, and remaining balances are invoiced and due according to the payment schedule outlined in your contract.

What forms of payment do you accept?

No worries! Your contract includes flexibility for early or late arrivals. Just let me know when you go into labor or when baby arrives, and we'll coordinate the start date for services based on when you're home and ready.

What if my baby arrives earlier or later than expected?

Not much! I'll need a safe sleep space for baby (bassinet or crib), feeding supplies (bottles, formula, or pumped milk if applicable), diapers and wipes, and a comfortable spot for me to work. We'll go over all the details during our consultation and again a few weeks before your due date so you're prepared.

What should I have ready before you arrive for overnight care?
